New open access publishing agreement with Sikt in Norway
We are pleased to share that MJS Publishing has established a new open access agreement with Sikt, the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research.
This collaboration allows Norwegian corresponding authors affiliated with participating institutions to publish their articles open access at no cost. The initiative is designed to promote greater visibility and accessibility of Norwegian research in the medical and health sciences.
“This agreement is an important milestone for our open access publishing, and we hope it will encourage even more Norwegian researchers to share their work globally,” says David Kinell, Publishing Manager at MJS Publishing.
To be eligible, authors must be affiliated with one of the institutions currently included in the agreement which initially are Akershus University Hospital, Molde University College - Specialized University in Logistics, Ostfold University College, Nofima (the food research institute) and UiT (The Arctic University of Norway). Additional Norwegian institutions may join the agreement over time.
The agreement applies to all articles accepted on or after June 1, 2025.
