New publishing agreement with FinELib in Finland
A new open access agreement has been established between MJS Publishing and FinELib, facilitating the publishing of open access articles without any associated charges. Finnish authors at the eligible institutions are now able to publish various accepted article types without incurring any costs, courtesy of this valuable collaboration.
“We are grateful for this collaboration with FinELib. This is an opportunity to improve open access publishing in the medical field in Finland and to streamline and facilitate the publishing process for all involved parties.”, says David Kinell, Publishing Manager at MJS Publishing.
Authors must meet some author criteria and be affiliated with a participating FinELib institution, which are University of Helsinki including Helsinki University Central Hospital, Tampere University including Tampere University Hospital, University of Turku including Turku university central hospital or Savonia University of Applied Sciences.
The agreement is effective from 1st of May 2025, encompassing all articles in accepted on or after this date, in the following journals:

· Acta Odontologica Scandinavica
· Acta Oncologica
· Acta Orthopaedica
· Biomaterial Investigations in Dentristry
· Journal of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery
· Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine
