New Publishing Agreement with Royal Danish Library

A new open access publishing agreement has been concluded between Medical Journals Sweden (MJS Publishing) and the Royal Danish Library, acting on behalf of the consortium member institutions. Under this agreement, Danish authors affiliated with eligible institutions are entitled to publish articles with a 12% discount on the article processing charge (APC).

This agreement represents a continuation of the existing collaboration between the parties.

Authors must meet some author criteria and be affiliated with a participating institution, please see the list below.

  • Faroe Research Information Service

  • Roskilde University

  • University College Copenhagen

  • University College of Northern Denmark

  • University College Southern Denmark

  • University of Copenhagen & Copenhagen University Hospital

  • University of Southern Denmark incl. University Hospital

  • VIA University College

  • Zealand Region

The agreement enters into force on 1 January 2026 and applies to all articles accepted on or after that date, in the following journals:

  • Acta Dermato-Venereologica

  • Acta Odontologica Scandinavica

  • Acta Oncologica

  • Acta Orthopaedica

  • Biomaterial Investigations in Dentristry

  • Journal of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery

  • Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine

  • Scandinavian Journal of Urology
